The IRSA Executive Committee worked for several months on a updated constitution. The current constitution is out of date on necessary housekeeping matters, such as the name change of ISAF to WS. But there are more changes necessary e.g. establish class committees, clarify how committees may reach decisions. Retiring no longer needed committees...

A Proposal was sent out to our Delegated National Members to vote on October 6th.

The Proposal put to the Designated National Members (DNMs) of the IRSA to approve the new Constitution has been defeated.

According to Article 10.1(iii) the Agree vote needed to be 2/3rds of “votes caste”.
