24th January	Class Rule changes have been posted for all classes to bring them into line with the new RRS 2005-08. They can be found onTechnical page under ".... CR Amendment for RRS" for the relevant class.

6th July	ISAF RRS & ERS 2005 - 08 In advance of their worldwide date of implementation on 1 January 2005, the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 and ISAF Equipment Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 have now been published online.

12th June	We now have a new IOM World Champion. The racing going right down to the last race before it was decided in favour of Trevor Binks GBR over Craig Smith AUS with Paul Jones AUS closing fast. Full Results & other info from Canada.
9th June	A new version of Regulations that should have been posted last month have now been posted on Printable Docs page. My apologies for the delay.
14th May	The IOM Class Rule 2003 becomes effective 15th May 03, new measurement forms and certificates can be used from that date. 2002 forms can be used and 2002 certificates validated and issued up to the 12th June 03.
23rd April	A new Interpretation as requested on the 2002 edition of the IOM Class Rule has been issued.
23rd April	First coments from DMs re: Future of RSD have been received
19th April	New class rule for the IOM, effective date15th May 2003.
16th Mar	The future of RSD within ISAF. As mentioned in the 2003 PC Minutes a paper was to be issued listing the organisational options within ISAF for RSD after the 31st March. It has been released early and can be found under Articles and called Radio Sailing and its Future Organisational Relationship with the International Sailing Federation. If you any comment to make on this topic please get in touch with your DM.
24th Feb	We are trying to get in touch with radio sailors in Singapore and Turkey. If you know of any officer for radio sailing in those countries could you please ask them to get in touch with the Gen Secretary address under "Committees".
12th Feb	The Minute for an E meeting of the PC regarding a request for dispensation for BM Sails has been published on the Minutes page.
11th Feb 03	The Minutes of the General Assembly and the Permanent Committee meeting plus reports and relating documents are now published on the Minutes page.
30th Nov	The Permanent Committee has now ratified the Interpretation IOM 2 292002 and also issued a statement.
16th Nov	General Assembly business The agenda, notices, motion, nominations and Officers reports are all on the minutes page. Please check the notices and let me know as soon as possible whether or not you are sending a representative so that we can arrange a suitable size room for the meeting.
8th Nov	A new Interpretation for the IOM Class has been issued and can be found on the printable documents page. The Interpretation has the status of Class Rule until ratified by the PC.
4th Nov.	It was with great sadness, that we have learnt of the death of Ken Roberts this afternoon. Ken was General Secretary of RSD, MYRD and IMYRU for over twenty years. I am sure that we all offer our condolences to his wife Joyce, his son Martin and all his family. An appreciation of his life.
5th Oct	Updated various documents on Printable Documents page.
4th Oct	The RRS App E amendment put out yesterday is reissued with an added sentence just to clarify the status and to conform with the rule format used in RRS. It is also emphasized that the document is only a recommendation from RSD, as RSD is not empowered to amend RRS. However as you will be well aware the current version in RRS is unusable hence the issue of this recommended amendment.
3rd Oct	Identification on Sails RRS rule E6 The Permanent Committee has approved the publication of a document that amends RRS rule E6. It is also intended that this will be officially published in the next RRS. The recommenced amendment can be found under Printable Documents.
20th Sep	The Italian web site is now posting an up to date result, pictures as well.
26th July	An error has been found on the excel spreadsheet version of the 10R measurement forms. A new version has been posted in the Technical section with all the other class rules. Please ensure that all boats measured and certified since March 2002 are checked, the error was in the calculation of spar area. All DMs have been notified if you have any query please contact your DM.

20th June	The RO report for the IOM European Championship at Fleetwood UK. A financial statement is to follow. Interesting reading, if you have any comment to make please direct them to your Division Member National Authority.

9th March	The address lists for DMs and Committees have been updated and revamped. They are now only in .pdf format but the DM list has bookmarks for ease of use.
6th March	Two errors in rule C.6.3 in "Marblehead CR 2002.pdf" posted at the ISAF-RSD web site have been detected. The last two items had entries in the minimum column which should be in the maximum column. Please download the new file "Marblehead CR 2002 revA.pdf".
1st March	There are now new class rules for the IOM, M, 10R you can find them in the usual place "Printable Documents" along with the measurement forms. You will not find measurement certificates, these have been issued direct to your Division Member. They will only be issued by DMs to owners on receipt of correctly completed measurement forms along with any applicable fee.
14th Jan	Minutes and reports of the January PC meeting are now on the minutes page. Please note the revised date fot the M WC in Italy. Now 14th-22nd September 2002.

06/02/00	There are some changes to the "Printable Documents" page, the Minutes & Reports have been taken out and given their own page. Minutes & Reports. The Printable Documents page has been reformatted and now lists all the RSD Rules, Regulations and Documents with the revision date of the current version. Please check your RSD Handbook and print off the documents you need to replace. If you cannot get the mouse cursor to change or the text to highlight that means that document is not there yet. On the Minutes & Reports page you will find the minutes of the the recent PC Meeting and the Reports from the Officers. There is also an informal report of the meeting, from Larry Robinson the Publicity Officer. Larry's article and others like it could be available for publication in your magazines and newsletters if you can provide us with contact details of the publication. The FAQ page has also been modified to rectify the fault that Netscape users could not operate the links to the answers.
