The Permanent Committee are pleased to report that the twenty-seven Divisional Members and Class Associations have approved our name change from ISAF RSD to IRSA, International Radio Sailing Association.  The name change has also been accepted by ISAF and we are now an affiliate member of ISAF. This name change which clearly identifies our responsibilities provides tremendous scope for us to represent all Classes of Radio Sailing throughout the world.  Opportunities exist for new members to join increasing our international coverage.  Radio sailing is beneficial both mentally and physically and provides exciting opportunities for like minded Skippers to meet and compete throughout the world.  IRSA looks forward to extending its family to include your Class.  More information can be obtained on this web site or by contacting any member of the IRSA committee.

25/05/2010 HMS 2007 has been uploaded to the Documents section.  MYA copyright is acknowledged.  This version remains in widespread use for radio yacht racing and is fully supported by IRSA.   go there
24/05/2010 An interim 2010 version of the Championship Regulations has been uploaded to the Documents section.  Roy Granich (Racing Committee Chair) has advised that only sections 1 & 2 of this document have been changed in order to restore the right of ICAs to conduct Continental Championships.  A more extensive review will be carried out in the coming months.   go there

17/02/2010 Press release concerning meeting with ISAF in January 2010 - outcome is that RSD will change its name to
International Radio Sailing Association and will continue to work with ISAF to help publicise and promote all aspects of radio sailing by promoting the four existing International classes and encouraging the new up-and–coming classes to become part of the IRSA family.   Read the press release

01/01/2010 Minutes of the PC meeting held on 17/12/2009 are now available on the minutes page.
20/09/2009 The General Assembly has now been completed and the minutes are now published on the minutes page. The new Permanent Committee can be found on the Committees page. The other committees will be posted there when the new PC has established them.
